A retired attorney with over 40 years of experience in antiques and vintage, she holds a personal property specialist appraisal designation and is a certified auctioneer — giving her the professional framework to assess, value, and move estates with precision. Combined with decades of hands-on experience, she has a network of specialists and experts to ensure nothing gets overlooked or undervalued.
Violette brings hands-on experience closing art sales at contemporary galleries and a practiced eye for the secondary market. She knows how to market estates effectively, reach the right buyers, and move inventory with speed and purpose.

Not everything belongs in an estate sale. We identify works of significant value — paintings, sculpture, prints, and decorative art — and route them to the appropriate auction houses, dealers, or private buyers, ensuring you receive true market value.
With over 40 years in the antiques market, we offer expert identification, valuation, and sourcing. Whether assessing an inherited collection or advising on a purchase, our knowledge spans furniture, ceramics, silver, textiles, and beyond.
When time is limited or a full sale isn't the right fit, we offer estate buyout services — purchasing contents outright for a fair, immediate offer. We also coordinate full cleanouts and donation referrals, leaving the property ready for its next chapter.

What does a consultation involve?
We visit the property for a complimentary walkthrough — typically 30 to 60 minutes. We assess the contents, give you an honest estimate of what a sale could generate, explain our process, and answer any questions. There's no obligation and no pressure.
How much do you charge?
We work on commission — there are no upfront fees. We are paid only when items sell, so our incentive is always to maximize what your estate earns. We'll discuss our rate during your complimentary consultation.
What happens to art or high-value items?
This is where our expertise makes a real difference. We identify works that would be underserved by a general estate sale and route them appropriately — to auction houses, private dealers, or collectors. You receive a separate recommendation and fee structure for these items to ensure they reach their true market value.
How long does the process take?
From initial walkthrough to completed sale, most estates take two to three weeks. We handle all setup, pricing, advertising, staffing, and cleanup. You don't need to be present on sale days unless you'd like to be.
What if there isn't enough to justify a full sale?
Every situation is different, and we're happy to talk through yours at no charge. If a full sale isn't the right fit, we'll tell you honestly and help you figure out the best path — whether that's a buyout, donation coordination, or simply some guidance on next steps. We'd rather give you the right answer than the wrong service.
